With more than 23 years’ experience in industrial and manufacturing marketing, Craig has built AMI around a simple idea: delivering straight-talking, results-driven marketing that manufacturers can trust. His background gives him a deep understanding of the challenges engineers face, and he’s passionate about helping clients turn marketing into real, measurable business growth.

For Craig, the best part of the job is speaking with customers who’ve seen a genuine uplift in new business enquiries. That direct link between the work AMI does and the success of UK manufacturers is what drives him. He has huge respect for the skill and innovation within the UK engineering sector, especially the constant advancements in technology that shape the world we live in.

Outside of work, Craig enjoys time with family and friends, and you’ll often find him playing pool, out on the golf course, or hitting the trails on his mountain bike.

Lee studied small business management and economics before founding AMI back in 2009. His goal was clear from the start – to help engineers and manufacturers succeed online with marketing that actually works. Over the years, he’s built AMI into a trusted partner for hundreds of UK manufacturers, always keeping the focus on practical results over marketing jargon.

What Lee enjoys most is helping engineers grow their businesses while learning about the wide range of processes that make up the manufacturing world. He has huge respect for the industry’s hard work and direct approach – qualities that align closely with AMI’s own ethos.

Outside of the office, Lee values time with his family and likes to keep things simple. You’ll often find him with a book in hand or out on the water, enjoying sea kayaking and fishing.

Will joined AMI back in 2017 after working in a mix of sales and account management roles. Having already crossed paths with Craig at a previous B2B agency, he was the natural fit when AMI was expanding. Starting out in sales, he’s grown with the business and now manages the operations side – shaping strategy, streamlining processes, and making sure both staff and clients get the best possible experience.

What Will enjoys most is the chance to put new ideas into practice, whether that’s improving efficiency in the office or enhancing how we deliver projects. He thrives on turning a plan into something that makes a real difference.

Working with manufacturers suits him down to the ground – he values the straight-talking, practical mindset of our clients, who, like us, don’t have time for fluff. The mutual respect and appreciation when a job is well done is what makes the role rewarding.

Outside of AMI, Will rarely sits still. You’ll find him running, playing golf, tennis, or football – and occasionally trying his luck at poker (a bit too often, by his own admission).

Ronnie has been with AMI since 2019, bringing experience from both marketing agencies and time spent inside a manufacturing business. That mix means he understands the sector from both sides – and he’s passionate about building long-term relationships that help clients grow. He’s also a regular at industry exhibitions, where he enjoys catching up with customers face-to-face.

What Ronnie admires most about manufacturing is the constant evolution of technology and the chance to learn how things are made. For him, seeing ideas turn into real products never gets old.

Outside of work, Ronnie’s world revolves around his kids, football, boxing, and the occasional wild camping trip on Dartmoor thrown in for good measure.

He’s also a loyal Wolverhampton Wanderers fan, which shows he can stick by people through the toughest of times (a level of dedication we can only admire).

Tim studied Marketing at Bristol UWE before kicking off his career at Bray Leino, working on household food and drink brands like Jäger, Rodda’s, and Burts. He later moved into pharmaceuticals, managing TV campaigns for Olbas Oil, Kalms, and more. That broad background gave him experience across big consumer names before he joined AMI to bring his skills into the manufacturing world.

What Tim enjoys most about his role here is the variety – working across all departments and jumping into everything from social media campaigns and websites to video shoots. He also admires the pace of manufacturing: it never stands still, and just when you think technology has peaked, something new comes along to raise the bar.

Outside of work, Tim is easy to spot – he’s the tallest in the company! Away from the office, he keeps fit, follows the mighty Tottenham Hotspur, and enjoys exploring the South West coast with his partner and their dog, Archie.

Hayley’s career spans business administration, management, and finance across both public and private sectors, including roles in banking, hospitality, tourism, education, and training. She holds an HND in Business & Finance and later achieved her AAT Level 4 qualification in accounting. Before joining AMI, she ran her own varied self-employed role, supporting businesses with their individual finance needs.

At AMI, Hayley enjoys balancing the day-to-day finance responsibilities with being part of the wider team. She values working towards company goals that support both staff and customers, and she takes pride in contributing to the success of such a motivated group.

When it comes to manufacturing, Hayley is impressed by the sheer variety and strength of businesses within the sector, and she enjoys seeing the important role they play in the wider economy.

Outside of work, Hayley treasures time with her grown-up children, enjoys long dog walks, and has a busy social life – preferably with a good glass of vino in hand.

Mikey brings a wealth of digital marketing experience to AMI, with over a decade spent specialising in SEO and content. His career includes time as a Senior SEO & Account Manager at Ducard, Content Manager at CMO, and running his own freelance consultancy, Proof Marketing. That mix of agency and freelance work has given him a sharp understanding of how to drive organic performance across a wide range of industries.

At AMI, Mikey thrives on working alongside a close-knit team of specialists and delivering real search growth for manufacturing clients. What he values about manufacturing is its blend of precision, problem-solving, and tangible results – unlike other sectors, this is an industry where the outcomes are physical, useful, and literally build the world around us.

When he’s not fine-tuning strategies, Mikey’s usually outdoors. He enjoys golf, cycling, and sea swims in the summer, before switching gears in the winter to explore new red wines.

Simon has built his career in digital marketing with a focus on the manufacturing sector, giving him a solid grounding in how to run campaigns that actually deliver. At AMI, he specialises in paid ads and performance marketing – digging into the data to see what’s working, what’s not, and where campaigns can be improved. (The free food in the office doesn’t hurt either.)

What Simon values most about the job is the chance to work across a wide range of industries and processes, learning how different manufacturers operate while tailoring campaigns to suit.

Outside of work, he’s a busy dad and self-confessed “dadmin” pro. He’s also an NFL fan and big into fantasy football – when he’s not switching allegiances between Plymouth Argyle and Manchester United, depending on which side “did less worse” that weekend.

George is a self-taught web developer who specialises in WordPress, with a focus on building efficient, scalable, and user-friendly websites. Alongside his technical skills, he also holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art – a background that’s shaped his creative approach and sharp eye for detail. The result is websites that don’t just function seamlessly but also stand out visually, tailored to each client’s needs.

For George, the most rewarding part of the job is bringing designs to life and making sure they work flawlessly across all devices. He takes pride in creating smooth, consistent user experiences that combine strong functionality with engaging design.

What he admires most about manufacturing is its collaborative nature – teams of specialists working together to solve complex challenges. That blend of creativity, engineering, and practical know-how resonates strongly with his own approach to development.

Outside of AMI, George is kept busy with family life, playing basketball for the North Devon Men’s Squad, and staying active in the gym.

Gareth studied Computing at Plymouth University before starting his career as a Flash Developer. After a couple of years he moved into freelancing as a web developer, honing his skills across a wide range of projects before becoming a long-standing part of AMI. In fact, Gareth was there for the very first website AMI ever built, and he’s been helping to shape our digital work ever since.

What Gareth enjoys most about his role is the fresh challenge of new designs and the early build stage of websites – when ideas first start taking shape on screen. (He also has a reliable supply of granola bars to keep the process moving.)

Outside of work, Gareth is a keen gamer, splitting his time between Nintendo and PC titles, as well as being an avid reader. He also enjoys unwinding with Netflix – especially K-dramas and spooky series.

Tom joined AMI in 2019 straight out of university, bringing with him a lifelong passion for computers and IT. Since then, he’s become one of the most dependable members of the team, always on hand to solve problems and keep projects running smoothly. A natural problem-solver, Tom is never afraid to challenge an idea if he sees a better way forward – something that ultimately ensures the best results for our customers.

Before AMI, Tom was a competitive gamer, and that same focus and persistence now drives his approach to IT and development challenges. He thrives on finding solutions, improving systems, and making sure things work as efficiently as possible.

Outside of work, Tom still enjoys gaming, but he’s just as happy spending time with his pet tortoise, Freddy – who, while not quite as fast-paced as Tom, is just as much a character.

Lydia brings over ten years of hands-on social media experience to AMI, with a career spanning roles as a social media executive, account manager, and marketing manager for a major trade show company. That background gives her a strong mix of creativity and strategy, making her the go-to for helping manufacturers grow their presence online.

What Lydia enjoys most is onboarding new clients and uncovering the unique stories behind their businesses. No matter how much you think you know about manufacturing, she’s always discovering new processes, niche industries, or weird and wonderful products she never expected.

She has a particular admiration for reverse engineering – the problem-solving skill of taking an old or undocumented part and recreating (or even improving) it. To her, it’s the perfect example of how inventive and clever the manufacturing world really is.

Outside of work, Lydia keeps active with plenty of netball and has recently taken up running. She’s also a full-time dog mum to Dougie the cockapoo, who keeps her just as busy as her clients do.

Laura combines a creative academic background with hands-on industry experience. With a Master’s in Video Editing and a Bachelor’s in Fashion Promotion, she’s worked both in retail and as a freelance video editor before joining AMI. That blend of skills gives her a sharp eye for design, content, and storytelling – all of which she now brings to leading our social team.

What Laura enjoys most is crafting engaging social content, from clever graphics to posts that tap into pop culture to make manufacturing more relatable. She’s always looking for ways to add personality and make technical subjects connect with people.

For her, manufacturing is fascinating because it’s everywhere – from the big projects shaping industries to the everyday items we all use. She particularly loves laser cutting (because, as she puts it, it’s just plain cool).

Outside of AMI, Laura’s creativity doesn’t stop. She spends her time with friends and family, heading to music events, keeping fit, or diving into hobbies like crocheting, painting, photography, and baking.

Dan’s career path has been anything but ordinary. After studying business, IT, and art at college, he moved to Australia before returning to the UK and working as a chef. It was during those long shifts that he turned to writing – partly as a hobby, partly as stress relief – and discovered people actually enjoyed reading it. Blending that with his passion for photography eventually led him to AMI, where he’s been for almost a decade.

What Dan enjoys most about his role is the variety. Every product that arrives to be photographed brings its own quirks and challenges – no two boxes are ever the same. He also has huge respect for the manufacturing sector, admiring its precision, complexity, and the fact that it remains a true backbone of the UK economy.

Outside of work, Dan takes a different kind of precision seriously: you’ll usually find him sweating it out on the dance floor to some very loud drum and bass.

Georgia studied Graphic and Media Design at the London College of Communication, graduating with a first-class degree before gaining experience as both a graduate designer and freelancer. She joined AMI to bring her creative eye to the world of manufacturing, designing everything from exhibition stands to brochures and digital assets.

What Georgia enjoys most is seeing her work out in the real world – whether that’s a 100-page brochure hot off the press, an exhibition stand in action, or a magazine ad making an impact. She also has a growing respect for manufacturing, particularly the skill and detail that goes on behind the scenes. Everyday objects now look completely different to her, as she notices the processes – from machining to injection moulding – that go into making them.

Outside of work, Georgia keeps active with running, the gym, and her new love of CrossFit. She’s also an avid reader, always with a book close to hand.

Erin’s career path has been a creative one from the start. After working as a dance teacher, she went on to complete a BA (Hons) in Fashion, Media & Marketing before moving into social media and community management roles. That mix of creativity and communication made content creation a natural fit when she joined AMI.

What Erin enjoys most about her role is the autonomy – being able to plan her own workload and decide how best to approach each project. She’s also developed a genuine interest in manufacturing, especially in seeing the detail that goes into components and processes most people never even think about.

Outside of work, Erin makes the most of North Devon life with her dog, Rio, and plenty of countryside walks. She’s also a big fan of coffee shops, baking, and singing with her local choir. Holidays are high on the agenda too – with New York always at the top of the list.

Before joining AMI, Niamh worked as a Social Media Community Management Team Leader, building her skills in managing campaigns and online engagement. At AMI, she brings that experience into the manufacturing space, creating fresh, engaging content while keeping things straight-talking and effective.

What Niamh enjoys most about her role is that every day is different. Whether she’s picking up new tricks in graphic and video design or learning about a client’s unique manufacturing process, she values the mix of creativity and technical insight. She also thrives on the freedom to manage her own projects and experiment with new ideas.

Since working with manufacturers, she’s gained a new appreciation for how much goes into creating final products – from planning and sourcing to machining and testing. It’s an eye-opener that’s given her a real respect for the industry.

Outside of work, Niamh loves to travel and explore new cities, catch live gigs (especially rock and pop punk), and spend time doing the simple things – like coffee trips and shopping.

Laiken studied Journalism, Media, and Sociology at Cardiff University before moving into social media, where she worked with major brands at agency 365. That experience gave her a strong foundation in creating content that stands out and connects with audiences – something she now applies to AMI’s manufacturing clients.

What she enjoys most about her role is the constant opportunity to get creative. From designing eye-catching graphics to writing copy that resonates, there’s always a new angle to explore and fresh ways to bring technical subjects to life.

For Laiken, the most impressive thing about manufacturing is its versatility. It underpins almost everything we use day to day, from the car we drive to the phone in our hand. She finds it inspiring to see how engineers and manufacturers shape the world in ways most people never stop to think about.

Outside of work, Laiken is always on the move – you’ll usually find her in the gym, out running, or catching up with friends.

Scarlett studied Marketing Management at the University of Brighton, graduating with a 2:1 before joining AMI. She now works within the social team, helping manufacturers tell their stories in ways that are creative, relatable, and engaging.

What Scarlett enjoys most about her role is bringing the manufacturing world to life through content. Many people don’t see what goes on behind the scenes, and she loves showcasing those processes in a way that feels accessible and easy to connect with.

She particularly admires the way manufacturing turns ideas into reality – taking a concept and transforming it into a physical product that people can actually use. That practical creativity is what makes the industry so inspiring to her.

Outside of work, Scarlett enjoys running, especially on summer evenings after a busy day. She also loves sea swims with friends (always followed by hot chocolate) and relaxing dog walks, which she counts among her favourite ways to switch off.

Will studied Film Production at the University of Gloucestershire, graduating with a first-class degree before carving out a career in video. He started as a freelance videographer, working across weddings, Olympic sporting events, promotional content, and marketing projects. From there, he moved into the garden machinery industry as a marketing manager, where his video-led approach produced hundreds of product review films – building tens of thousands of followers and generating millions of views online.

At AMI, Will brings that same energy and skill to the manufacturing world. What he enjoys most is getting out on-site, meeting clients, and capturing the wide variety of manufacturing processes across the UK. It’s a chance to showcase an industry that’s both complex and fascinating, with no two shoots ever the same.

Outside of work, Will keeps busy with family, friends, and his dog. He’s big into sports – surfing, cycling, and hiking – and also puts his creative streak into DIY projects, most recently converting vans into campervans.

Don’t be fooled by his miniature dachshund size – Billy takes his role very seriously. As Head of Security, he’s responsible for keeping the AMI team in check, guarding against lunch theft (or contributing to it…), and boosting morale whenever it’s needed.

Small but mighty, Billy makes sure the office runs smoothly – on his terms.

Dougie the cockapoo is Billy’s second-in-command, still learning the ropes of office security. His main challenge? It’s hard to enforce order when you’re this cute.

While discipline might not be his strong point, he’s already nailed toilet training and excels at keeping spirits high. With Dougie around, the AMI office is always that bit brighter.
