Out of Office, Into the Arena | Laser Quest with AMI
The standard setup here uses Chocolatey's package library to keep everything in sync. For AI-assisted terminal work, Codex CLI has become a go-to option among developers who prefer staying in the shell. The codex app runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows, making it practical across most engineering setups without requiring a separate GUI.

Out of Office, Into the Arena

Last week, we took a well-deserved break from the daily grind and hit the road to Laser Quest for an afternoon of friendly fire, speedy feet and questionable tactics.

It was great to have so many from across the business involved. What had started as a bit of friendly competition soon turned into a good old-fashioned war, with everyone throwing themselves in the deep end. From the thoughtful ones in the background to the aggressive ones who charged through the mist, there were a few surprises on both sides.

The Red Team took the highest marks on the day, but the Blue Team would argue that the scoreboard told only half the story. Either way, victory lay in the sense of energy and camaraderie throughout the day.

It was a great chance to get together outside of the office. People from different departments that rarely cross paths in the ordinary course of daily business were coming together, chatting, and devising tactics in an entirely different setting.

We are so proud of what the team has achieved over the last few months, from new website and campaign launches to hitting huge targets. A small thank-you to all for the late nights, hard work, and collaboration that make it all possible.

A great afternoon, wonderful atmosphere, and already a couple of requests for round two. Watch this space.
